About RainbowSA
Growth and Development depends critically on access to clear, simple, well-organised information. It also requires clear communication channels for regional and national strategies; good business and market linkages and improved commitment and co-operation from all stakeholders (Government, Business, Labour, Individuals and Communities).
Rainbow SA is a small black-owned organisation that fulfils this need through running comprehensive national information services for national issues (such as Skills Development, Black Economic Empowerment and the Environment) and key growth sectors (such as Agriculture).
Rainbow SA provides information in Printed National Handbooks and Directories on each subject; Free Online Portals; e-Newsletters and via Seminars and Workshops.
Our National Handbooks and directories are industry leading in their ability to gather entire sectors and all role-players into one publication and have become the standard for sector and issue-based directories. They simplify the key issues. They broaden the reader's horizons and introduce new thinking and best-practise. They also provide plain-English step-by-step guides to legislation, Codes and other key concepts and programs.
Our portals are gathering places for everyone invloved in each area - to share ideas, link with other websites, obtain up-to-date news and case-studies and access databases of product and service providers in that area. Our e-Newsletters provide comprehensive summaries of latest developments in each area on a monthly basis. To date we have run over 350 BEE, Skills, Environmental and Agricultural Seminars with some of the most inspiring and knowledgeable speakers on the issues. Audiences leave these events saying they have seldom heard things explained so well and in such a balanced, non-threatening manner.
All Rainbow SA projects are sponsored by a mix of Public & Private Partners who wish to be seen as major players or supporters in an area of national importance.
We are a small, dedicated team of researchers, writers, editors and subject experts who aim to facilitate growth & development by making it easier for organisations & individuals to understand, participate in, finance, share best-practise, access providers & stay up-to-date in each key national issue or sector.
